Declutter First
Organizing the bathroom should always start with a good decluttering. Take a peek at these twenty items you should get rid of before you move on to organizing your space. It’s important to organize things in order to find what you need faster and easier.

Keep the Counters Clutter-Free
Keep all your products organized and in one place. You don’t have to keep a bunch of products out on the counter. These dishes create a tidier look and make it easier to clean your dishes.
This means you should keep your items stored in the back 1/3rd of the cupboard area. This foaming soap pump not only looks beautiful, but it also saves tons of soap. Fill your bath with any of your favorite liquid soaps and then add water to fill it up.
Use the Inside of Cabinet Doors for Storage
If you have space behind your bathroom cabinets, you can easily store all the things you need for a shower. Use that extra space. Use over the door organizers to store different things.

Hooks work great to hang face towels and clothes, and they can easily be removed if you want to change things up. We love these Toothbrush Organizers, they help keep the boys’ toothbrushes out of sight, but also easily accessible.
They’re a little more complicated than they seem at first glance.
Use drawer dividers
Those bathroom drawer organizers help us keep everything in order. Dividers are helpful tools to help you organize your work space. They also save time when you have to look for something.
A draw string that keeps things in place. Keep your products organized so they are easy to access. Organize your products in baskets, drawer units or shelf units.

If you want to personalize it for yourself, you can add some drawer liner to it! It doesn’t matter where you keep them, because you wouldn’t be storing them together if they weren’t brand new.
Have a Caddy for Each Member of the Family
When I was a kid I used to have a caddy. It helped me as well as my siblings. Each of the boys keeps their personal care items in a caddy in their bathroom so they don’t forget anything.
Every morning they just have to take the caddy out, do their chores, and put it back.
Everything is all in one place, which means that you won’t have to look for anything if you get stuck. It’s quick and easy to clean up. If you need one bigger, you could check out this one.
Add a laundry bin
Having a laundry bin in the bathroom specifically for wet and dirty towels makes it quicker to clean up and way easier to do laundry.
I wash all of our clothes at once. I wash everything together. This makes our laundry routine a lot easier.
Hang towels from hooks instead of towel bars
Bath towels are much easier to hang up on a towel bar than they are to hang up on a hook.
Plus, it makes the towels last longer and allows the towels to dry better. Hang the towels in a different place for each family member.

We try to reuse our towels as much as possible so we don’t need to buy them new. Knowing that I’m not washing them means they last longer, so it’s a win-win for everyone.
If you don’t have the space for a full mount, try using over the door hooks instead. They look good, are functional, and they keep everything secure.
Use clear acrylic containers
Hinged lid acrylic containers are one of my favorite storage tools. I use them for everything from organizing kids’ toys to organizing paperwork and other household items.

If you’re looking for a good countertop option for your bathroom, go with a smaller vanity and put the sink in the opposite corner. With the right design, the space works very well for your needs.
I added a dish rack to create a second shelf and the acrylic bins fit into the rack with ease. The clear design lets you see exactly what’s inside, and it works great for stacking.
Labeling is needed
Labels make it easier to find what you want, and even more importantly, where to put it back. Your kids, and maybe even your husband, can’t tell you that they don’t know where something goes!
A cute label can add more interest to your room. It’s a great way to personalize your space!

I used the Silhouette Clear Sticker paper to make labels for our bathroom cabinet just like I did for our fridge. The label can be printed out on an ink jet printer, but it can cause the ink to run when it gets wet.
Having it printed on a laser printer will ensure that the ink will stay put. Whether you’re using the standard label stock or one of our label designs or templates, you can make up to 30 of your own unique labels for free in just a few minutes.
